We are proud to host the ISWA World Congress 2018 in beautiful Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The ISWA World Congress 2018 promises to deliver a world-class technical programme designed to advance scientific and technical knowledge for sustainable solid waste management. Through keynote lectures, plenaries, concurrent sessions, poster sessions and case studies, we will explore the best industry practices.
The ISWA World Congress 2018 theme, Sustainable Consumption towards Waste Minimization, is focused on driving strategic change and technological innovation toward sustainable consumption solutions whilst reducing our ecological footprint.
I also look forward to welcome all of you to my country, a diverse country rich in culture and tradition while enjoying a dynamic growth in its economy. Malaysia, strategically located in South East Asia, is a colourful tapestry of various ethnic groups and boasts beautiful sandy beaches, is home to one of the oldest tropical rainforest and largest caves in the world. Aside from its beaches and rainforests, Malaysia is a destination for shopping, architectural marvels, historic sites, festivals and theme parks.
